Purpose: Frontier FFA will lead a community service project to help clean and repair guzzlers—man-made water sources that support livestock and wildlife—on local ranches. This hands-on effort will strengthen our chapter’s connection to the agricultural community while giving members the chance to make a meaningful impact through service.
Why: In Wyoming, over 70% of livestock depend on reliable water sources like guzzlers, and studies show that wildlife populations decline by up to 40% during droughts without access to water. Many ranchers struggle to maintain these critical resources alone. By volunteering, Frontier FFA members will gain valuable experience while helping ensure water availability for both livestock and wildlife.
