Purpose: Frontier FFA members will host a booth in the school cafeteria over several days to engage students in conversations about healthy food options and the impact of food waste. Through interactive displays, activities, and resources, members will educate peers on making nutritious choices and reducing food waste in daily life.
Why: In the U.S., nearly 30–40% of the food supply is wasted each year, while only 2 in 10 high school students eat enough fruits and vegetables daily. By raising awareness within our own school through the Waste Not Want Not Week, Frontier FFA members can encourage healthier eating habits, reduce waste in the cafeteria, and demonstrate agriculture’s role in providing sustainable, nutritious food.
