Financial literacy is an essential skill for high school students preparing for economic independence, and the Frontier FFA is committed to fostering this growth through our Financial Literacy Speed-Dating event. This interactive event will bring together professionals from a range of agricultural businesses, operations, and careers to answer financial and economic questions from members in a fast-paced, Speed-Dating style format. Through this event, members will gain valuable insights into both the agricultural industry and key financial concepts, including agricultural markets, personal finance, and self-stabilization strategies. Small groups of members will rotate quickly between industry professionals, each representing different areas of agriculture, providing a unique opportunity to learn about career pathways while also building financial literacy. This event is designed to help members develop the confidence and skills necessary to make sound economic decisions, both in their personal lives and as future leaders in the agricultural sector.
