Ag Expo
Sep 16 2025 12:00AM - Sep 17 2025 12:00AM
Location - Archer

The Ag Expo is an event that provides FFA members with a unique opportunity to demonstrate their leadership, communication, and agricultural knowledge to the next generation. This event, specifically designed for fourth-grade students within Laramie County, is more than just an educational fair—it's a chance to ignite a passion for agriculture in young minds and offer them a deeper understanding of the importance of farming, ranching, and the broader agricultural industry. As an FFA member, you play a crucial role in shaping the future of agriculture by engaging with these students. Your responsibility is not just to exhibit facts about crops, livestock, and sustainability, but to inspire curiosity and foster a sense of respect for the agricultural community. By presenting interactive exhibits, demonstrations, and hands-on activities, you give students the chance to experience agriculture in a way that goes beyond what they learn in the classroom. At the Ag Expo, you will likely explain key agricultural concepts such as food production, the role of farmers and ranchers, animal husbandry, soil science, and modern farming technologies. However, the event also allows you to emphasize the broader impact of agriculture on our daily lives—how it connects to the economy, the environment, and even global food security.
